Entertainment Education & Media Impact Assessment: Johanna Blakley

Lear Center Managing Director Johanna Blakley presents on the entertainment education model our Hollywood, Health & Society program uses as well as new work from our Media Impact Project at the Educational Technology and Computational Psychometrics Symposium in Iowa City, IA.

Blakley offers summaries of methods and findings from a range of media impact studies, including results from studies on changes in awareness, knowledge, attitudes and behavior among viewers of scripted entertainment (soap operas, primetime dramas, feature films), as well as consumers of journalistic content on broadcast TV, film, online, and in virtual reality environments.
