Pedestrian Walkway
Submitted by Sayon Syprasoeuth, Anaheim
I was thinking about putting a pedestrian walkway that leads to the park on all the streets from City Hall to the Walt Disney Concert Hall. It would be made of cobblestones in a "checkerboard" design. There would be lights coming from below to illuminate the street and the people crossing it.
The purpose of the walkway is to indicate that there’s a park there. Also, it will slow traffic down a bit, but not stop it. This pedestrian crossing will create a more people-friendly park that people will want to walk into.
