STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS & SPECIAL PROJECTS, THE NORMAN LEAR CENTER

Veronica Jauriqui manages research translation and special projects at the USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center, overseeing interdisciplinary studies on entertainment, media, and narrative change and guiding projects from research development through public dissemination. She works across research, creative, and communications teams to translate findings into strategic insights, reports, research briefs, and public-facing tools that help industry leaders, journalists, and nonprofit organizations understand how media, entertainment and storytelling shape attitudes and behaviors.

An award-winning writer and graphic designer, Veronica specializes in data storytelling and visual communication that makes complex research accessible. Her work bridges research, communications, and project management, coordinating cross-team collaboration, timelines, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.

Before joining the Lear Center, Veronica worked in health communications and journalism, including several years as a reporter and assistant editor at the Los Angeles Independent, where she received an L.A. Press Club award. She also does freelance writing for arts and culture publications.

Veronica holds a BA in English from Whittier College and an MA in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.
